I know Lisa from the e-groups, we've chatted on occasions. I received
this email from them earlier today:
****We know, we know-- there hasn't been an update from us since
sometime in 2002. We've kept to our word-- we've left the site up and
running but haven't given it much attention (although we do keep an eye
on things). But right now, we'd like to alert you to some goings on at
Eggschange.
One of our members has recently informed us that ebay is no longer
allowing auctions of live animals. We're not sure if this is the reason,
but suddenly we've gotten quite a few listings in just the past few
days. We know not much has been happening on Eggschange in the recent
past and lots of you probably haven't visited in some time, so we
thought we'd just drop you this quick note to let you know that there
might be items you'd be interested in.
Basic auctions remain free at Eggschange, although there is a charge for
supplemental listing services, as has been the case for some time now.
So why not have a quick browse through the new auctions at
http://www.eggschange.co.uk to see if there isn't something on offer
that catches your fancy.
Best Regards,
Tom & Lisa @ Eggschange******
Buying or selling hatching eggs is not my thing, but they're nice people
& enthusiastic, so I hope that it works well for them.
