Hi, Buster!
Just lay the eggs on their sides. Sometimes you can get the large end
higher, and that is preferred. I mark an "x" on one side to make sure
that they are turned completely when I turn them. That should be done
3 or 5 times a day. The odd number is to avoid the eggs going through
the night in the same position two nights in a row. I turn eggs
end-over-end like the birds do and rotate the egg on the back left to
the front right daily.
Do you have a hatching chart that came with the incubator? It tells
temperature, days to hatch, and humidity levels. When incubating duck
eggs, I also spray the eggs daily with a mister. Depending on the
water in the tray does not work for me.
Best of luck on your adventure!
