An old dog bowl or baking dish that has seen better days
Punch holes through the bottom as it is okay for them to stand outside and
so will get some rain. They are better in the shelter though
Fill with your grit and oystershell and then leave to the girls to take what
they want
Don't worry if they don't it just means they do not need to
You can scatter it but that means you have not way of telling how much or
little they are taking or whether they need more
