I use Gold Label Louse powder (which I think is the same as Ascott do but
mine is in a 500g tub (and about the same price. I sprinkle it in the house
and the hen's main dust bath occasionally. And sometimes try to sprinkle it
on the birds.
I have to say that I have never found any definite indication of lice or
mites but I don't know whether that is because the stuff is warding them off
before they can get a hold or what. I did once see what I thought was a
louse but it was a one off, after which I applied the powder more diligently
and haven't seen anything since.
I tried to get something called Eprinex which was suggested by Victoria
Roberts in CS (not licensed for poultry) but although they have it at the
local Ag Suppliers, it was rather expensive given that it had an expiry date
of one year - and the bottle would have lasted ten plus!
I'd be interested to hear of other people's experience of the others on
your list.
As for Ascott, I ordered something from them a few weeks ago and it arrived
the next day! Very impressive. And I don't think their prices are bad - in
fact I have discovered a the chick drinker and small feeder I recently
bought would have been cheaper (forgetting postage) through Ascott.
Where in Devon are you? Have you tried one of the many Ag/Farmer shops?
Regards
Jay
