Seeing as there is so much animal knowledge here, anyone help with this...
My GSD has just had pupps. Trouble is we have no idea where she's had them.
She dropped about two weeks ago and has only been seen for about an hour a
day for food and drink. Then - when no one is looking - she runs off
presumably to look after them.
I've walked my legs off trying to find her and them but with no luck.
Searched every building within a quarter mile and nothing.
Bit disappointed she did not use the bed I made up for her to have them in
and felt she had to go elsewhere; they were early so I wasn't looking out
too closely. She's a very loving effectionate bitch and never wanders off
site normally. How long can the pupps survive without indoor warmth - not
cold at the moment. She has plenty of milk so I'm hoping they are still OK,
or am I clinging to unrealistic hopes. :-(
