Hi Peta,

why not? All sorts of interesting combinations appear in my mind,
frizzled black with blue crest, black with frizzled blue crest...
beautiful new breeds ;-)

PS: here in Germany we do not know a "Polish" breed. Our standard knows
"Paduan" chickens in black, white, blue, cuckoo, golden laced, silver
laced and another colour, I don't know the English term for it - like
buff with white lacing. Crests have the same colour as the rest of the
plumage. Then there are "Dutch Whitecrests" probably what you call
"Hollandaise". They come in black with white crest, but IIRC there are
also other colours that I can't remember right now, but the crest is in
a different colour than the rest. I am not sure there are white
"Whitecrests"...
