I am really interested in your response which seems so much at odds with the
folks on the other side of the counter so to speak --
- am I understanding you correctly that you would have a separate specialist
in all the common types of animals -- chickens, ducks, rats, horses, cows,
goats, - ie anything not too exotic - that you could bring in to attend the
animal your client had brought to you who live within an area that either
the specialist would come to your surgery or the client could be easily
expect to travel -- less than one hour away for example ??
If there is not the specialist advice within a sensible range surely you are
the only help for this animal and its your part to liase and ask for help to
treat the poor soul rather than expecting the owner -- already in distress -
to be blindly travelling hundreds of miles without any support??
