That is a judgement you CANNOT make
Most bitches will try and have their pups in the most inappropriate places
Under trees, in sheds, in bedrooms you name it they have tried it
YOU are incredibly ARROGANT and not particularly well versed in animal
behaviour despite your proclaimed history as others in other groups have
noticed
you didn'y know where
> the pups were,
It is not the first time a well cared for bitch has taken herself off
Tony very obviously searched high and low for these pups as had the owner of
the barn they were eventually to emerge from -- the fact that they were
quiet and the bitch decided she was quite happy to carry on looking after
them herself shows that --- one the pups were quite happy and two so was the
bitch
He had prepared for the pups and has had lots of people searching for them
if they were alive or dead, and now you are not even able to
> feed them properly.
They arrived last night when to be honest the family probably thought they
had lost them -- I am sure they will be doing everything they can to rectify
the situation. The bitch sounds like she has done a great job --- as she
might being a well cared for dog.
The fact thay are alive is a miracle even though they
> are problably unplanned
WHERE THE HELL DO YOU GET THAT FROM ???
How do you come to that conclusion??/
Planned or not a bitch can have other ideas about where she whelps. She in
fact was not far from home -- garden fences are a human thing not a canine
one. She decided she was happy enough looking after them -- any half decent
GSD would have been quite capable of making herself and her litter found if
she had had concerns
Well its obvious you have been far too busy getting ready for your move to
follow the story -- when do you go to France???
Tony has had lots of people searching and even tried to get a GPS system on
the bitch
>and wild animals having never been handled,
Not done as much rescue as you make out have you
They will not be wild -- they WILL not know about the niceties of human /
dog relationships and that will require some working on
as well
> as riddled with fleas and worms.
They may need looking at but there is nothing to say they WILL be riddled
with anything.
> You are the worst kind of dog owner.
And you are the worst kind of so called help
in fact
You are no help whatsoever -- you have shown this elsewhere and here
Here folks have been so tolerant of your attitude -- maybe its not
surprising that elsewhere others have not been
Neglect and ignorance breeds animal
> suffering.
There is nothing to say that there has been any animal suffering whatsoever
here -- the vet may report differently but it is just as possible that a fit
healthy bitch has decided to find a very nice and secure place just close to
home to give birth and raise her young. Being well fed and healthy she has
managed to do so and they were perfectly content to be where she left them
well fed and secure so having no need to whine or pine or make frantic
suffering noises for weeks on end
Like any healthy youngsters they have got bored and are now exploring ---
and hey ho -- have appeared above ground
This all sounds healthy enough to be honest - unfortunate and not as Tony
planned things out
Tony's only problem is these are pups that have now got to learn the ways of
the human world which they have been missing out on so he will need to keep
them around for a number of weeks now or find someone else to do the job for
him if the family are all out working.

There are 6 week start jags now that some vets prefer [its a 3 jag cycle I
think] . Others prefer to start at 8 weeks but if that is not Tony's
experience you should not judge.

Urmmm - you are so in your own apoplectic cocoon that you did not read that
Tony said he was taking them to the vet on Tuesday
He is not allowed to in any
> case. So he will either have to pay a home visit or you will have to try
to

Interesting --- I thought you had done some rescue --- obviously not from
your reaction and your vocabulary
If mum says these funny human folks are okay then the pups will think so
too.
Even without a mum pups grown up like this are not "wild" - they will have
fewer social skills but they will be just and wriggly and squirmy all over
folks as others.
To get any litter of 7 week old pups into a car and into the vets is an
interesting proposition.
I wish Tony lots of luck and lots of help about him - its been a horrid time
for the humans involved even if the canines have managed to get through
things pretty well by the sounds of it
If we were close I would be happy to be more practical as we have been SO
often in the past with litters but hopefully he will find any help he needs.
