My eight (various breeds) have jsut finished their second year of laying.
All but one seems to have stopped now. Interestingly the one that is still
laying is the one who sat on and hatched eggs in the summer. She stayed with
the chicks till they were about 8 weeks or so so had quite a time off.
I think they all stopped at about this time last year as well. They started
laying again early in January.
I also have ten new pullets - about twenty weeks old. One or two are just
starting to lay and I've had one egg 7 out of the past 9 days.

I've been getting a bit desparate as I hate having to buy eggs.
