If you do not sell / kill . Sheep they end up with no teeth .
At about 5 years old they start to loose teeth .
from then on they can not eat properly .
We got 2 ewes few years ago they were suppose to be 2 years old . That
year we bred them and got twins from both. the next year again twins. When
the lambs were 2 days old I had to take 1 of each to raise . At 1 week old
the other lambs were going down hill verry fast .We caught the lambs and
ewes and found 1 ewe had 2 teeth left the other had none. The quieter of
them I hand fed until the lamb was weaned the other one .Died a month later.
there was nothing left but skin and bone. I reared here lamb .she grew only
the size of a 3 month old lamb .
I gave her to a friend so the could not get in lamb as she may have had a
full sized lamb and it would have killed her to have it.
