Hi Nuele,

Actually, giving the eggs away to the neighbors works in my favor.

They have five children and love fresh eggs so they are happy to get them.
What they do in return is to keep us stocked all summer long with some of
the most wonderful fruits and vegetables I have ever eaten! Corn, tomatoes,
peppers, black berries and apples, all fresh from their garden, are
delivered regularly during the growing season.

I am a horrible gardener. I tried it once and did not produce anything
worth eating! ha ha

I definitely have the easier time, just gathering up the eggs and putting
them in a carton. They have to till the soil, plant the seeds, weed the
patches, harvest, clean, etc. They bring me so much that my wife is able to
can and freeze the extras so the harvest lasts well into the winter.

They said they think they are the ones getting the better deal by receiving
fresh eggs! I guess, so long as we both feel that we are the lucky ones, it
is a wonderful situation!

Shawn
