We just ran across this thread and, although it is old, we felt
compelled to answer.
Double R Supply is the country's largest retailer of incubation
equipment. In the top 4 nationally for GQF and Little Giant, were
number one in 2003 and again in 2004 for both Brower and Brinsea.
Add to that that we offer over 40,000 OTHER items in our catalog for
not only poultry and waterfowl for for ALL farm animals plus equestrian
supplies and tack as well as pet supplies for all types of pets.
We ship hundreds of packages a day worldwide. Regarding the email, yes,
we do have spam filters on. We receive and answer over 1,000 legitimate
emails a day but our filters kick out an additional 1500+ pieces of
"junk mail" each and every day.
The writer states that we refused a link to his site that gets 100 hits
a day. Ours averages 27,000 hits a day. Corporate policy also dictates
we do not do link exchanges. As a commercial corporation, we do not see
the value of adding a link to a competitor on our own site! We doubt
if you see a link to Sears or Target on WalMart's site!
One of our staff members remembers this situation. Yes, this staff
member did in fact tell the writer to STOP emailing and to "not email
again!"..but only after repeated emails from them asking repeatedly why
we were not interested.
Our prime goal is good customer service and the lowest prices in the
country. Our lowest price guarantee is posted on our site for all to
review. We do, in writing, guarantee the lowest prices in the
country...including s&h...on everything we sell. Its a fact. Its in
writing!
With the number of employee we have, it is not impossibe to
occasionally get one that may treat a customer rudely. When we find out
about them, their services are terminated! But this writer chose to
write a campaign rather than let us, in management, know!
We are not perfect...but we try each and every day to make all
REASONABLE customers happy.
