Retailers in general have had no say in this - its been imposed
The large ones are in right royal battles with the card companies over
commissions and other matters
The little ones just get "telt"
The retailers like the idea of everyone using cards -

Not really -- it all costs
There is a saving in time I grant as you don't have to traipse into town to
bank
