I dont think you should shoot it. I love chickens, but I also want to
be a falconer, and that might be a bit incompatible, but...Hawks and
falcons aren't doing anything wrong, they arent killing your chickens
out of spite. The only reason that they have been attacking your
chickens repeatedly is because they have learned that there are large,
flightless birds on the ground just across the road. If you consider a
chicken wire roof on the chicken's coop, the problem could be solved
non-violently. There are several different ways to deal with a
situation such as this. You don't have to blast something out of the
sky to solve a problem.
