I have hardly any I must admit . I was rather annoyed at the response I
got. My initial post was not intended to be hurtful .However I get a bit
exasperated when people allow chickens to be sick and possibly suffer for
ages, weeks on end, allowing them to die slowly instead of getting treatment
or doing the humane thing. I do tend to be rather blunt when I point things
out that don't seem to occur to them but it is not malicious. I speak like
this in real life too. Luckily friends and family know my motives,
understand that it really bothers me to imagine suffering and know that I
rarely say things out of spite.
I *was* narked that the OP responded by offering praise and thanks for help
and advice and castigated me for my post.
Perhaps I really ought not to post to,or read any animal related newsgroups
as I have a tendency to point out to owners their obligations regards the
welfare of their animals, when it should already be obvious to them but
doesn't seem to be :-(
