Until you know which breed its quite hard to help. It sounds like you have
chosen bantams as opposed to large fowl. There are still hundreds of breeds
of these and few are a problem to keep.
Once you do know which one -- you can contact the breed club for that
breed - there are various online resources with lists of contact details or
contact the British Poultry Club.
The breed clubs have members all over the country so hopefully will be able
to put you in touch with someone within travelling distance.
