I thought they were working on much faster updates nowadays.

Well done -- its great fun and no-one is born an expert and EVERYONE can
always learn more.

It is not welcoming and not necessary.

It can get very hard sometimes when there is no reciprocation. I have
noticed that up until this last couple of days that there has a high
propensity for posters to come in requesting information which several
regulars provide but there is NO acknowledgement or thanks whatsoever.
As you say everyone here is voluntary and mostly do it because we love to
help. Even so its a bit galling when week in week out there is not so much
as a "thank you" or indication that anyone has even read it.

We need more posters - that is what makes this place more interesting.
Everyone can learn and everyone can help in someway or another. We all bring
