If you have no other birds it might be a good idea as they could pester her
If there are other ducks they can lay in her nest which upsets the apple
cart with ill timed eggs

Yes but htey are also fair game for predators -- gulls and crows LOVE
ducklings
So you need to give her a protected area until they are big enough not to be
attractive -- they do grow super fast

They are fine -- Mum will do that -- an area of fresh sweet mown grass is
great and duck starter is a good feed and will help to put condition back on
mum too
