Many thanks to both. One of our drakes, Bob, is very timid. The other,
Mike, is protective of hs 'flock' but only ever pecks shoes, and that only
when we're already on the way out anyway. All mouth and no trousers I
suspect. Our duck starter is on the way (though a google search turned up
mostly tips on cooking ducks as an entree; not what we had in mind!)I'll let
you know the outcome!
