Hi, Pat!
By seperating the next hatch from their mom and reuniting them together
with the lone duckling to her, you may well find it a new home. The
seperation needn't be but a few minutes, just long enough for the
ducklings to get used to each other a bit. Then just scramble the lone
duckling in with them. I've done it before with no problem. Birds
can't count.
Just don't make a pet out of it beforehand. She won't notice that it's
bigger, either.
