I agree. I am famously very lax about bad temper in my roosters but if it's
just your B I L he is annoyed with (and after all, he came unannounced to
get his girls ;-) ) I would excuse him and just shut him away when b i l
comes. I don't think the rooster did wrong, and didn't you say how he
protected his hens and that's why you wanted to keep him?
So he did. And now you don't?
