You can see, if the spur is white, where the blood vessels come to, like on
the nail in a dog. Proving you clip above this it should be fine. I've
done this on very old boys lots of times, and they can walk much better
afterwards, their spurs were getting heavy.

I hope Nüle will not mind if I say that she used to go past his run when she
was staying here, see him head*** it when she went past and then bend over
near his ear and whisper "casserole.."
It used to crack me up.
