Hi
In the UK the only one licenced for poultry is FLubenvet I believe
You can get this from your vet or from Interhatch
IF you chekc weigh your birds every few months that can help you see if
there is any condition lose
IF you keep birds enclosed in an modest area - either because that is all
you have or because you are containing breeding stocks for example then
there is more chance of a build up
IF you have a significant wild bird population sharing the same areas -
especially around feeding places as your birds this can also cause free
range birds to pick up a load
Some people suggest a routine treatment is no bad thing -- March - or just
around start of lay to give the system a tune up and September before or
around the moult to make sure they are in best condition to go into the
winter
You can take samples into your vet who will check them for traces of
unwanted visitors for you
