Mixed Roosting?

Hi,

I had 3 Japanese bantams and today I added 4 large fowl golden comets.
the hen house is big enough for 10 birds so lots of room.
however, since I added the comets, none of the birds has gone up to roost.
they are either on the floor or the nest box edge.
the comets came from a farm breeder and did not have a roost or next box.
they were just in a shed with 100 sisters.

is the comets lack of roosting due to not knowing about it?

I have no idea why the japs stopped roosting.

the comets are 18 wks and the jap age is unknown. I was lied to when I
bought them
so I have no idea, but none are laying yet.
