No you do not need to kill them at all
There is absolutely no reason to do so unless you are actually in a place
where you have AI infected birds right now
If you are in the US the chances of this virus getting into your migratory
birds this year is probably infinitessimal
Anywhere else in the world [ except SE Asia] the risk varies depending on
where you are but the threat to our birds is only going to be around for the
next 6 weeks
After that the migration will be done for another year. Any cases will be
known and Hopefully the world leaders, movers and shakers will get down and
dirty with the situation in SE Asia to get it sorted out before the endemic
virus mutates in to a pandemic human virus and before we all have to go
through this next year.
