Hard boiled young pullet eggs

I have 29 6 month old pullets and we have been getting plenty of eggs for about a month now - they are delicious!! But, I just hard boiled my first batch and treated them just like store bought eggs (plunged in cold water after boiling 12 minutes) and that was the worst egg peeling experience I have ever had. What is the trick to getting "easy to peel" hard boiled eggs from young pullets?
Even though they are ugly, the pickled eggs will probably still taste delicious!
Any and all hints appreciated, I am running out of ideas for egg dishes. .
