I'm in the Austin area... I currently have 5, but am in the process of
finding a home for 2 of them. One hen and one rooster. :-)
What do I do with them? Well, one is a lovey pet, and the other are a
reasonably tame breeding pair. I get $5.00 each for clean eggshells on
ebay, or for an intact egg for eating or hatching. Or, $10.00 for a live
chick.
I also make the feathers into craft items and sell those on ebay.
How did I get them? I'm in Texas. There are STILL cheap or free emus
available here!
Want some?
