Sorry it took so long to get back to everybody. I appreciated the
insights you have given me. I am going to look into Australorps again.
I had considered them as part of the flock at one point. Because I am
looking toward the being used for the meat I was a bit concerned about
the darker birds having more problems with dark spots on the flesh
after taking the feathers off. Have you processed one of them for their
meat yet?
