Perch problems....still

Hi,

I have had problems with my golden comets since i got them.
I have 6 in total.

When i first got them they were in a coup with my bantams.
they slept in next boxes at first.
Then the followed the bantams up to roost.
but only 4 for them.
Then the roost became more unpopular.
Now none of them sleep on it.
I had moved the bantams back to there bantams sized house
after they taught the others to roost.
The bantams still roost.

I covered the nest boxes today as jill suggested.
So my chickens not being the sharpest of animals went to sleep on the floor.
So i went in and manually put the on the perch.
I have also put the bantams back in with them to try and correct this
behaviour.
It was a bit tight up there with one perch in.
The house takes two but i removed the high one on advice about their dive
bombing.
So i'm not sue how many would get up there fluttering about on the way up.

Any ideas on how to stop this behaviour?

ASBO? New chicken house? Less chickens? :-/
