ANother military coup? Winter does affect them. It has an effect on them.
One could be egg eating. Rats will eat egg. They also attack chickens. Since
you found one rat there will be another 10 around. You *are* putting down
rat bait aren't you? And of course doing it safely? Those rats might just
stage a coup and get rid of all your chickens.
