What is it you want - what did you love - what did you hate?

??

I am the only one in my ancestry to be born south of Sheffield - my family
are entirely Yorkshire, Lancashire! and Aberdeenshire.
But I grew up in a very small village which was still feudal - as I grew up
it got infiltrated from the nearest city via new motorways [50 miles away] -
it taught me a lot about the dynamics of small village politics from a VERY
early age. And how difficult it is to understand!
These days many parts of Soctland and Ireland are very bad for this.

hmmm - sorry I am not sure what one of those does!!!
but I do know that there are parts of the Highlands-- not Argyll !!! where
the IT investment has been very important
but this is businesses who can be anywhere and the folks do not mind
travelling south regularly and, if necesary at a drop of a hat

No farmers I know of unless they are selling building land !!!!

Crumbs - that does sound harsh - its certainly not what I have heard
experienced in Ireland nor in Scotland
> I hvan't eaten fast food for nearly 2 years.
--- urm -- ah yes - when I was down in Paisley supporting Mum for her hip
operation in the middle of the summer and the lovely restaurant close to B&B
was full -- really crap but really scrummy at the time !!

WHAT !!!!!!
okay WHO even thinks - lets the thought cross their grey cells - triggers
their synapses - with the idea of BUYING A LAWN MOWER in December let alone
at 3 AM in DECEMBER !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
<very big grin>

maybe - maybe not - maybe you just need to ease yourself more gently through
different stages where your skills and character will be better appreciated
I sure as heck would not fit in ANY city - how ever much they paid !!!
I might get by but I would NEVER fit in
Fitting into the country is easier -- but it is not EASY
I hope you not give in on your dream
And certainly living in London does not exclude many parts of your dream
including keeping chickens -- I never fail to be surprised at the
destinations of the poultry houses, books, and incubators I sell
Good luck in 2006 and live your dream whatever it is
