I suppose they do. In the case of the OP he moved to the country, found out

the city. Having met dozens if not scores like him you are right, I have no

got fed up with his moaning about living in the country *he* chose to move

Molly I really wonder why you have managed to survive as long as you have. You lambaste everyone you can with your moronic ideal of country life. An Ideal that is about as accurate of real country life and it is accurate of life on Mars.

Unfortunately I do understand the feelings of the OP only to well and your simple minded response is typical of the close nit morons that inhabit small country places.

There are many city people that dream of the country, there and many who go there and are frozen out but the very community that they came to embrace. Frozen out for no other reason that they are not 'locals'.

I have travels to many small towns and villages, the pattern is the same in them all. Everyone complaining that the youth move to the cities for work. Everyone bemoaning the death of the community, and those self same people do their utmost to make sure that those 'city interlopers' leave but freezing them out of all community things and making them feel generally unwelcome everywhere they go.

Molly you and the closed minded harpies that you are stereotypical of are causing misers all around you and the death of many a small community through your bloody minded idea that you know it all.

Instead of bashing the city slicker, why not help them out a bit and you just might find they are not all idiots and know alls. Although they might know more than you on a great many subjects.
