Hi Peter - the price will probably include the energiser and all the bits
you need to set the fence up if its anything like the set ups we have here
in the United Kingdom.
This makes a pen 12.5m by 12.5 m which is deter most predators and enclose
your birds but is a system that allows you to move the grazing area around
as you wish so using up ground much more effectively
If you want to see more details about electric netting I have several pages
of explanation on my site. We have used it very effectively for separating
flocks of different ages. Take a look at
http://www.smallholdingshop.co.uk/fencing.html and
http://www.smallholdershop.co.uk/fencingnotes.html for lots more information
Its a very handy system and when you cost out several pens made of 6 ft high
plus netting and posts to allow for resting grazing areas and the fact that
some predators do not respect ordinary netting it becomes surprisingly cost
effective
