You don't 'lose' any. Your chickens may be loose, yout sis-in-law may be a
loose woman (hope not :-) ) but I also hope you don't lose her i.e. she gets
lost.

Have you tried hanging old cd's around? Put a small hole in one edge and
thread some thread through and tie it to a branch or something. As a slight
breeze catches it, it sort of flicks the light about and birds really hate
it. Might help keep the crows away for a while.
