You also may get a "surprise" if the missing eggs are suddenly
accompanied by a missing hen.....
They can be damn right clever too about hiding a nest!
I've had up to 16 surprises at one time.
Hard to catch those little suckers too!
Wait 'till nightfall.
I caught them to sell them since I was not up to having a batch of
chicks. I let her keep 6 of them.
