Re: block sender is your friend !!!

I see you are using Outlook Express 6, like myself. For a fix on these
racist posts I find this adequate for me, rather than use block sender,
which is of course, only sender specific I do the following:
Highlight the title in blue that you do not want to read and what follows.
Take your cursor up to the top where it says Message. Click. Run your
cursor down to where it says Ignore Message. Click. You will then find
that all that thread is greyed out and there will be a no entry sign beside
it to remind you that you don't want to read it or anything that comes in
afterwards. Then ignore.
When the thread is all over, you can then delete it. If you are not sure
how to do this, please ask.

I don't see. I have any post with more than one other cross post
blocked. And I also have that entire thread where all the treehugging
Animal rightist nazis piled on killfiled. I don't see a thing.

It seems that new addresses are being used as well



He needs a decent newsreader. I use xnews and have no problems with
"noise" It's easy to killfile by poster, by crossposters, or by thread.
Killing any posts that are crossposted to other groups cuts the noise
ratio down to almost nothing

in xnews click Special >> Setup Xnews >>> MISC >> set options Kill
articles crossposted to more than "2" groups really makes newsgroups
enjoyable.
To killfile in xnews
Click ARTICLE >>> KILLFILE THIS POSTER (*plonk*) and when it comes up, i
usually just change the default 100 to ZERO.
