Ouch! 11 x 10 x 3 is a lot of pennies, then I'd guess similar in

and folks wonder why we have not considered export :~)
We can have over 1000 birds here

Oh, I can.

Probably around 200 - 300 metres away. And they don't keep them
anywhere near as well as we do. We've counted at least 50 birds in
half the space we have, with no grass just mud etc etc. :(

no a great opportunity for setting up an export place -- I can see your
point :~)

Sad but true :(

Obviously you will have to adjust your housing plans to include full
enclosure in view of todays news but then I would imagine that amount of
protection for folks would be unusual given the depth of cold and snow.
I am guessing that poultry folks there might well indoor house birds much of
the winter??

It does seem so. I reckon we'll be spending most of this year
preparing for next, to be honest.
