Olympia, WA No NAIS Rally
Alert - State, Action Item - walterj 5:39 pm Edit
Washington Staters are going to rally at the the Capital steps in
Olympia, Washington on Friday, the 24th of February from 11 am to 1 pm.
The goal is to educate people, make our voices heard, hand out fliers,
talk to the media hopefully, etc. No animals permitted. No signs
permitted inside the building. Make appointments to see your elected
officials and learn if they oppose NAIS - if not then educate them!
Keep it basic and peaceful. Most of all make your presence felt. If you
have a NoNAIS.org T-shirt then wear it and be seen!

There are sample flyers you can print out from the right hand side bar
here on NoNAIS.org as well as in the file archives of many of the
discussion lists. There is even one flyer that I just posted from Fran
that she made up for this rally. Note that it will work for other
rallies too with slight edits. Go to the flyer link above and print
away!

Another idea is to pass out NoNAIS business cards or slips. I have made
up a NoNAIS.org "Protect Traditional Rights to Farm" 30-up address
label *** in PDF format. These look much like the NoNAIS.org bumper
sticker.

These print great on a color printer or black & white printer, inkjet
or laser printer. You can use it for labels or just print it on plain
paper and then cut out the little slips of paper and hand them out to
people as you talk to them. I keep a stash of these in my pocket for
those times I have nothing else to hand out.

Spread the word. Tell your friends, customers, family, neighbors and
other farmers and homesteaders!
