Outbreak of Avian flu has been reported in many countries in Asia
..Cases of avian influenza A (H5N1) in birds have been confirmed in
Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Laos, Pakistan, South
Korea, Thailand, and Vietnam.Sadly, this dreaded disease had hit and
France also few days back .During this outbreak investigation, it has
not been determined that avian flu is spread from person to person .
this strain of virus is mostly found in Asia , U.S. A is stll free from
this virus .The current outbreak of avian influenza has prompted the
killing of more than 25 million birds in Asia.
Recently , india has also ordered the slaughter of around 500,00
chickens to prevent the spread of this virus .
