Re: Bird flu vaccination could lead to new strain



Several companies have taken the initiative to develop bird flu
vaccines but these are all under development and testing . I think
ythey won't be avauilable in the market for the next one to two years
..One bird flu vaccine which works similar to the seasonal flu is still
under clinical trials This vaccine requires two doses one month apart .
However the manufacturers cannot supply quickly enough vaccine as in
case oa pandemic breakout it would around 250 million doses .
