Best Mix of Geese?

Hi Everyone, and Happy New Year!

I have ducks and chickens and I am planning to get geese. My question: what
is the best mix of sexes? I plan to get around 6 goslings and I have read
that some breeds mate for life, so perhaps an even split is better than more
females. Is 2 ganders/4 geese OK? Or should I do 3 and 3? 1 and 5?

I am deciding between American Buff and the (small) Toulouse, leaning
towards the Buff. I live in upstate NY and I'll be getting them from
Metzer. Also any opinions on those breeds (temperment, hardiness, etc) would
be appreciated.
