Hens losing feathers and poor color in combs

I have about 12 hens in a coop that is 10 x 10 x 7 and they are laying fine. However I notice that they are losing feathers. They are all showing a dull color in their combs. I have 3 roosters that are in a separate coop and their combs are bright red. Any response would be appreciated. thanks, Geo.
