dead sparrows in chicken coop

Every morning for the past week, I have found a dead sparrow in my chicken
coop in the morning. The hens are all well. There is a 1 inch entry hole
where the wood is broken, where they enter in the night. The coop is open
during the day. When i put the chickens to bed, there are never any
sparrows in the coop. come morning, there is always a dead sparrow laying
on the floor in the morning. Just one.

The hens are healthy. But I'm now puzzled about why these sparrows are
dying. They have no blood or trauma. Where would I get these sparrows
tested? And do i have reason to be concerned?

We have West Nile infections in the local feral bird populations. Is west
nile a threat to chickens?
