I'll get a decent photo pf her eggs online soon - check

Oh WOW! What do the red eggs come from? Do you keep Easter bunnies?
Surely bunnies don't lay eggs, of any colour :)
I'm guessing that the two dark eggs (which do look a little on the red
side, but are probably quite dark brown) are probably from a Welsummer
(top right) and Maran (bottom centre). The speckled brown one at the
bottom is certainly very similar to our Maran eggs.
Actually it's the other way round - the big speckled one is from the
Welsummer and the plain old brown one from a cuckoo maran... I was hoping
for darker ones from the maran, but lifes not always perfect!
Our other bird is a cuckoo cochin and she lays slightly darker eggs than
the Maran, but they have a fine speckling on them and are shiny!
See http://www.hendersonshappyhens.co.uk/ for the actual birds as well
as the eggs ;-)
