I ordered 25 Black Australorp chicks from Ideal Hatchery around Waco, Texas,
the first of February. I ordered from this one as it is closest to my home
in Waxahachie, and I figured there would be less travel trauma for the
little guys. They came in a box about the size of a hat box! We picked
them up from the Post Office as soon as they arrived and they are all doing
well. They are at that real gawky stage right now, where they aren't real
pretty yet. It is my first experience with this, so have nothing to compare
it to. Jane
