Good morning poultry peeps,
Isn't there surprisingly little discussion about this crucial topic?
We've covered our entire run with plastic sheeting, as the run borders on
three other gardens and the moral pressure has been growing to remove the
evil threat from the neighbourhood. All the feeders are inside a spare
henhouse and the water bath is well away from the edges. I think this
shining edifice will meet the offcial requirements if H5N1 does come to
Bristol, but whether it will stand up to the equinoctial gales is another
matter.

Glad you made sense of my post!
:~))
Chatting to local practise in the past couple of days :!
Yes it is only the normal flu vaccine. I guess they are trying to avoid
H5N1 mixing with a human flu virus in a host, us!
I'm already under pressure from a neighbour with children to cull my
hens. However much we discuss the science of it I am told it'd be safer
my hens were gone.
Don't you dare !
I expect more moral fibre from you
:~)
Anyway - rehome don't cull
