banties: how much space for setting hens

Will be trying to get get 4 banty hens broody and to set . In 16 X 8
shed. Should I partition shed into four 4 X 8 spaces or will it be ok
to leave as one 16 X 8 space with four nest boxes maximum distance from
each
other?
