Hello all...I have four hens just for egg laying purposes. Recently a
couple of the eggs have had alot of blood smeared on the shell. I
have had them since they were chicks, feed them lay crumble and left
over food. Anybody seen this before?
Thanks,
Jim
how old are they?
what breed are they?
which side of the equator are you ?
Are the eggs larger than normal?
What weight are they ?
What is happening is they are tearing little blood vessels as the egg passes
through the oviduct
