there is a good chance she will die from the bacteria the raccoons
teeth have put into her body. Had you started to administer antiobitic
injections right away she had a small chance of surviving.

There aren't any vets in my area that treat chickens on the weekend! They do
dogs, cats, etc. but not chickens. I have a live trap but my horse stepped
on it; I'll try to unbend it now. I'm really glad I found this NG. I have a
Houdini horse who can open a man door with his mouth & he was constantly
getting in the hay area & stepped on the live trap. We fixed it, much to his
chagrin. There's not much I can do for Bo vet wise until Mon except feed,
water & move her house. The holes are only 1/2" in diamater & only in the
back of the crate & I'll cover them up somehow.
