there is a good chance she will die from the bacteria the raccoons
teeth have put into her body. Had you started to administer antiobitic
injections right away she had a small chance of surviving.
There aren't any vets in my area that treat chickens on the weekend!
PammyT is a PETA sabateur activist/terrorist and has admitted such. She
thinks you should sell the farm to treat a chicken. Yes it would be nice
for the chicken to see a vet. But I'm from south of you, and think if you
can find ANY vet to look at your chicken (even on a weekday) you are a very
lucky woman. PammyT simply tries to harrass people and make them feel
inadequate and guilty.
There are chicken antibiotics off the shelf available at your local farm
store. They have recommendations on the labels, but use internet search
engines and check out any information before treating.
Terramyacin is also a poultry approved antibiotic, but i have no idea if
it would be effective in this instance.
